Planning and Zoning
Board -
The Planning and Zoning Board shall recommend boundaries for
the original zoning districts and appropriate zoning
regulations for each district.
Board of
Adjustment - The Board of Adjustment,
in appropriate cases and subject to appropriate conditions
and safeguards, may be authorized to make special exceptions
to the terms of the zoning ordinance that are consistent
with the general purpose and intent of the ordinance and in
accordance with any applicable rules contained in the
ordinance.
Llano Housing
Authority - Providing Equal Housing Opportunities for those who qualify
for income-based or Section IX housing.
Airport Advisory
Committee - The
Airport Advisory Committee meets on a called basis to
deliberate and advise the City Council on issues regarding
and related to the Llano Municipal Airport.
Llano County
Historical Society -
The Llano County Historical Society is a Historical
preservation organization that also runs the Llano County
Museum.
Fireman's Retirement
Board- The
Llano Volunteer Fire Department is a member of the Texas
Emergency Services Retirement System (TESRS). This System
provides a cost-effective means for small volunteer departments
to belong to a professionally managed fund that issues payments
to retirees and their beneficiaries.
The Llano Fire Fighter's Pension Board oversees the service credit
for its members.
Llano
Central Appraisal District- The
City of Llano appoints one position for a term of two years
to the Llano Central Appraisal District Board to represent
the City's interests on that Board.
Main Street Advisory Board

The Llano Main Street Project is a
program of the City of Llano designed to help our community
revitalize the historical business district by strengthening
existing businesses, drawing new businesses, and focusing on the
appearance and retail mix of the historical business district.
