The City of Llano has an Aldermanic
form of government consisting of a Mayor and Council Members, elected by and responsible
to the citizens of Llano, and a City Manager, appointed by and responsible to the City Council for
proper administration of the affairs of the City.
The City of Llano, Llano County, Texas is an incorporated Type A General Law City. An
election was held May 31st, 1892 and a majority of votes cast were in favor of
incorporation. On June 1st, 1892 an order incorporating the City of Llano was adopted.
