Llano means 'plains' in Spanish, and while
Llano is in the heart of the
Texas Hill Country, the terrain of the City is
fairly flat. This makes the City amenable for biking.
However, there are no biking lanes on any of the roads,
so it is strictly street biking. Contact the
Chamber of Commerce for a street map of the City.
The area round Llano
offers some opportunities for
Mountain Biking as well as longer
road biking trips over hilly terrain. It would be
wise to get
detailed topographic maps of your intended route
before beginning the trip. |
